We finished our last day of HBC today. We had over 150 children again. We laughed and played. we made crafts and sang songs. We told thestory of Esther and how God used her for His plan and purpose. We encouraged the children to seek the Lord and His plan for their lives.
We said good-bye this afternoon to all the sweet faces we have come to love. There were a few difficult good-byes among our American and Kenyan team members. There is something powerful that comes in serving the Lord side-by-side, even for just a week. God has some mighty servants here and we are grateful to Him for the priviledge of being able to serve with them.
We are looking forward to a few days of rest before heading home. I will not be posting a trip blog every day, but know that your prayers and support over the last week and a half is greatly appreciated.
I challenge each of you to find your place of service to the Lord. Maybe traveling across the globe is where He is calling you. Maybe He is calling you to serve right in your own community. God has already called you to serve, the question is simply "where?". There is something unique when you obediently step our of your comfort zone and serve the Lord. Find your place and get after it. There is a lost and dying world right outside your door. Each One Matters.
