Today was another great day. We split up into two different teams, again: dental clinic and construction team.
When we arrived on the compound we heard beautiful singing coming from the church. Jean alix told us that it was all of the school children singing in their weekly Friday worship service. We were planning on going to each of the classrooms teaching about tooth brushing, which would have taken all morning. Instead, since all of the children were already together in one place, we were able to teach all of the children at once. It was really sweet! We were able to give each child a toothbrush and toothpaste or mouthwash. Since we finished our main task for the day, we were able to start seeing patients. We finished the cleanings on all our boys and began working on the school staff and church members.
The construction team helped out at the mission hose. They spent hours moving handmade blocks from the truck, to the ground to the masons stack for the walls. The masons were very appreciative of their help and willingness to work hard.
Tomorrow is our last workday. One team is going to build house #6, while some will stay behind and inventory all of the supplies. Please pray for all of us tomorrow to finish our tasks strong. We will also get a little time in the afternoon to play with our boys. Pray that we would use our playtime wisely and encourage our kids to love the lord with all of their hearts.
Thank you so much for the prayers!
