The mission of Hope For The Hungry is to "Share the Bread of Life with a Starving World". God has called us to serve people who suffer from hunger that is both spiritual and physical. According to scriptural mandate, we offer food for the body and salvation for the spirit to those who do not know Jesus Christ and will suffer eternal death without Him.

Day 4


Today was another wonderful day. We woke up early, and started our day with pancakes and coffee. Once we got to our ministry complex, we again split ways. One of our teams returned to the two homes that were framed yesterday and added the tin roof. They were able to pray with the families after their homes were finished. Another team went to LaGrenei and framed and roofed house #5. The others continued on in the dental clinic. They finished up the last of the boys with more significant needs and started on some of the church members. Pray for the team tomorrow as they decide what to do for the next few days. The homes that the building team was planning on working on aren't ready for roofs, yet. Pray that we would be intentional in everything we do, with everyone we meet. Pray that the Lord would use us to show His love to those who have never experienced it before.
