The mission of Hope For The Hungry is to "Share the Bread of Life with a Starving World". God has called us to serve people who suffer from hunger that is both spiritual and physical. According to scriptural mandate, we offer food for the body and salvation for the spirit to those who do not know Jesus Christ and will suffer eternal death without Him.

Our last workday!

Our last workday was a huge success!

Our team travelled to house #6 and got to work. In a matter of hours, they finished a house for a family of four. They were also able to teach several young men how to put on metal roofs! When they finished, the Haitians sang a blessing over the house and we prayed for the family. It was an incredible sound!

Dan, Andy, and Jen went to visit Village Madam Bellizaire and Village Canes. They are neighboring villages in a very primitive area in Haiti. Combined, there are 180 families with an average 6 people each. There are only about 80 homes for all of these people. The Lord is preparing for great and mighty things in these villages...

Pray for us to know what our ministry's part in His work in these two villages is.

Pray for the church service tomorrow. Haitian worship services are always wonderful. Pray that we would be able to fully worship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Pray for Danny, who is preaching tomorrow, that he would boldly preach the word the Lord has given him.

Pray for our team as we say our goodbyes tomorrow to the people we have ministered to and alongside of this week. It will be difficult for us to say goodbye.

This has been a wonderful week. The Lord has done some amazing things and we cant wait to get home to share stories with you. Thank you for your prayers.
